It takes place on December 7-9. The Finals of the Microsoft Excel World Championship will take place on December 9 in the HyperX Esports Arena at Luxor Hotel. We were considering holding the Masterclasses at Luxor Hotel but since it’s not available for these dates, we will be holding them in a venue nearby (TBA).
To register for The Active Cell you need to buy a ticket on the FMWC Website either for three days or one (the final day). The 3-day conference ticket includes Masterclasses on Excel and Financial Modeling on December 7-8, and the Finals Day (morning and afternoon Conference + Finals of the Microsoft Excel World Championships).
The price for a 1-day ticket is $499, and a 3-day ticket is $1,499. Check on our website for any promotions and early-bird sales.
Day 1
-Key Excel features such as Summarizing data (SUMIFS and other …IFS), pivot tables for data analysis, Dynamic Arrays, Excel Tips & Tricks.
-Key Financial Modeling topics such as Financial modeling standards and best practices, putting together a 3-way statement model from scratch, best practices for model layout and setup, and more.
Day 2
-Advanced Excel topics such as, Lambdas, VBA, Power Query, and Python in Excel.
-Advanced Financial Modeling techniques, Scenario Analysis, data visualization, strategies for an effective model audit, and more.
Day 3
-Excel & Financial Modeling Conference with panels and seminars of Excel MVPs, World Champions, and industry experts, culminating with the Microsoft Excel World Championship finals.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price. The conference provides Breakfast, Lunch, and snacks for the Training Camp (Dec 7-8), and snacks with non-alcoholic beverages for the Final day of the conference (Dec 9).
You definitely do not need to be a Finance/Excel pro. If you have basic skills and want to learn more about these respective fields, you’re welcome to attend.
