When and where is The Active Cell Training Camp taking place?
It takes place on December 7-9. The Finals of the Microsoft Excel World Championship will take place on December 9 in the HyperX Esports Arena at Luxor Hotel.
We were considering holding the Masterclasses at Luxor Hotel but since it’s not available for these dates, we will be holding them in a venue nearby (TBA).
How do I register for the Training Camp?
To register for The Active Cell you need to buy a ticket on the FMWC Website either for three days or one (the final day).
The 3-day conference ticket includes Masterclasses on Excel and Financial Modeling on December 7-8, and the Finals Day (morning and afternoon Conference + Finals of the Microsoft Excel World Championships).
What is the registration fee for the Training Camp?
The price for a 1-day ticket is $499, and a 3-day ticket is $1,499. Check our website for any promotions and early-bird sales.
What topics and sessions will be covered at the Training Camp?
Day 1
–Key Excel features such as Summarizing data (SUMIFS and other …IFS), pivot tables for data analysis, Dynamic Arrays, Excel Tips & Tricks.

Who are the keynote speakers and presenters at the Training Camp?

Will I receive a certificate after completing the Training Camp?
Yes, everyone who attended the first two days of the Training Camp will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Are laptops needed for Masterclasses?
Bringing in your own laptop will definitely be useful since practical Excel and Financial Modeling examples will be taught in class using real-life business cases.
Will there be food & bev included at the Training Camp and Finals of the MEWC?
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price. The conference provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the Training Camp (Dec 7-8), and snacks with non-alcoholic beverages for the Final day of the conference (Dec 9).
What level of Finance/Excel is recommended to attend the event?
You definitely do not need to be a Finance/Excel pro. If you have basic skills and want to learn more about these respective fields, you’re welcome to attend.
